We use the Zoom technology platform. Zoom allows easy functionality and protection as each family receives their own meeting ID and unique password for an additional layer of remote security.

How Does Therapy Work?
New clients are typically evaluated prior to the start of therapy to determine current communication skills and potential areas to be addressed. While focused assessments are offered, please note that Insurance plans often require a full (Speech & Language) assessment for services to be covered. The initial evaluation may be waived if the client submits a completed report detailing the full evaluation for the same diagnosis within the past 12 months.
Prices reflect intake interview, evaluation, scoring, expert analysis, a detailed comprehensive written report and a 15 minute results conference. Testing time may take 1-4 hours depending on your child’s unique personality and participation, age, language status (i.e., first language/second language) as well as presenting concerns (i.e., articulation only, fluency, speech and language, etc.).
A bilingual evaluation costs more than a monolingual evaluation because it requires more time and specialized knowledge in analyzing potential deficits in both languages. Assessments are charged by testing time with the child per hour (or portions thereof). Assessment may include only one area (speech) or more areas (speech, language, fluency, etc.) as warranted by presenting concerns.

Presentations are crafted to address the topic of interest and level of audience.
Prices & Payment
Services cost $100 (Tele-therapy only). In-person ranges from $200 to $400 per hour depending on therapy needs. We believe each child is unique, thus, every therapy program is tailored to promote an individual's premier success!
Speech Language Leadership Services is a Private-Pay practice. Credit, debit, HSA, and FSA are accepted via Ivy Pay on the day of service. We are currently out-of-network with all insurance providers. After you submit payment to Speech Language Leadership Services, we can provide you with a superbill upon request. A superbill allows you to request reimbursement from your health insurance company for some or all of your paid services. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided to you on the first day of service.

Therapy Services
IN-HOME
In-home therapy is available for families in the San Diego area within the travel boundaries as scheduling permits. In-home sessions last for 50 minutes.
TELETHERAPY
Teletherapy is a convenient, time-saving option for families and/or those social distancing. Tele-therapy is when a child uses a computer and/or other mobile device with a parent/adult present as needed to facilitate interactions. Tele-therapy is offered anywhere in the state of California. Tele-therapy sessions last for 25 minutes.
